Founding batch order terms.
This is a limited, paid pre-order for a made-to-order product. These terms explain the charge-now model, dispatch window, voluntary cancellation promise, and customer rights before you pay.
Who offers the product
DeskStudio is the platform through which this founding batch is offered.
1. Product and pre-order
Your paid pre-order is for a custom 90 × 40 cm deskmat based on the exact design revision shown at checkout. Payment is taken now to reserve capacity in the displayed batch. The item is made to your specifications and receives a human pre-production review.
2. Price and payment
The complete price, currency, quantity, and any delivery charge are displayed immediately before payment. Stripe processes the payment; DeskStudio does not store card details. A pre-order confirmation is sent in a durable format after payment is confirmed.
3. Dispatch and delays
The promised dispatch window shown at checkout is copied onto your order. It is a dispatch commitment, not a carrier delivery date. If a material delay becomes likely, we will update the tracker and contact you before the end of that window with the revised timing and available choices. If we cannot manufacture or deliver the order, we will cancel and refund it in full.
4. Approval and print variation
You approve the exact design shown at checkout. Small differences between a backlit screen and the printed material—including color, contrast, and edge placement—are normal. We may contact you if the preflight review identifies a production problem.
5. Voluntary cancellation and refund
You may cancel the paid pre-order from its tracker for a full refund until the order is first submitted to the production partner. The full amount returns to the original payment method; after Stripe confirms it, your bank may take about 5–10 business days to display it. Self-service cancellation closes once submission to production occurs, but support remains available.
6. Personalized goods and mandatory rights
The deskmat is made to your specifications and is clearly personalized, so the standard statutory withdrawal right generally does not apply to it. DeskStudio nevertheless gives the broader voluntary pre-production cancellation right described above. This does not limit rights concerning non-conformity, defects, damage, failure to deliver, or any other mandatory consumer protection.
7. Content rights
You confirm that you own or have the permissions needed to use every element supplied or requested in your design. You authorize us and our production partners to create, review, print, and deliver the product. We may reject or cancel content that appears unlawful, infringing, hateful, harmful, or otherwise unsuitable for production.
8. Delivery, defects, and complaints
Delivery is available only to the countries accepted at checkout; the founding batch is currently Romania-only. Inspect the package after delivery and contact support promptly about loss, transit damage, a material defect, or a product that differs from the approved design. We will assess the evidence and provide the remedy required by law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory legal guarantees.
